Happy 4th Birthday Aleksis!!!

I made this one for my nephew who is turning 4 this month. I was actually going to use the ladybug cut that was holding a 4 on the Birthday Bash cart...my son...who is 18 said...no ladybug...too girlie. I thought...really...for a 4 year old? He wanted me to use this bull...so that's what I did. It did turn out cute...do you think ladybugs are too girlie?

Recipe:

  • Birthday Bash cart-pg 45   bull cut at 4"
  • MME-Hootenany paper pad and Together twine(aqua)
  • American Crafts-white and black card stock and black and white twine
  • Bazzill-blue card stock x 2 from the Earth tones stack
  • pink scrap ? brand
  • CTMH-chocolate ink, Card Chatter Birthday Occasions stamp set
  • My Creative Time-Stitched button dies, ticket dies, Fun ticket stamp set
  • Recollections kraft card stock
  • Glossy Accents
  • Making Memories black brads
  • EK Success border punch
  • SU Pennant punch

    I love the bull with the roller skates. I do think this is more of a boy card than the lady bug. However, in the Bugs Life movie they do have a boy lady bug. :) Great job on the card. ~Tami

    Absolutely adorable!! I love how you have him skating on the twine!! And the laces are awesome!! I don't know why, but ladybugs do seem a bit girly. This is perfect for a boy!! Happy Thursday :)
