Try me Tuesday @ My Creative Time




Today at My Creative Time we are debuting "Try Me Tuesday". The idea is to push the DT out of their comfort zone...and maybe try new things. This week it's "dry embossing". I do dry emboss...have a million embossing folders...but I forget about them. Love the texture they give a project. This card is for my Hubby for Valentine's Day. Love how it turned out.   1. My Creative Time-4x4 Journal die and more, Chocolate Greetings, Puffy Hearts Just for You, Post card add ons(tiny heart stamp inside card), Stitched heart layering dies, Once upon a time, Curly label die, Stitched curly label die
  2. Cuttlebug embossing folders-Seeing spots, Polka dots
  3. Sizzix embossing folder-hearts
  4. Bo Bunny-Love Letters paper line, Island mist double dot
  5. Versafine onyx black ink
  6. AC Burgundy card stock, black jute
  7. Basic Grey Black candy dots
  8. Glossy Accents
  9. Memento Tuxedo black ink

    o.k.... I told you on FB, but this card is gorgeous!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how you embossed the pattern paper!!! Such a brilliant idea!!! I also love how you turned the stitched curly label on it's side and stamped the sentiment and the inside is gorgeous too.

    How nice embossing looks on patterned papers...I often have troubles picking out patterns for papers and usually dry emboss solids. Your card is beautiful inside and out! Super job!
