Hi everyone...I've bean thinking about coffee-I mean you...lol! Isn't that always the way?? January is the longest month EVER!!!!! You are trapped between December which is a Christmas craft and card making extravaganza and February...Valentine's Day. I have another non traditional Valentine's day card to share. I made this using Classic Linen card stock(which is on sale this month at CutCardStock.com) and Tindalo Woodgrain card stock. Linen card stock is the perfect paper for ink blending-I was surprised how nicely the ink blended on this card stock...who knew? So run...and get some for yourself this month!!!! Thanks for stopping by...Lee-Ann :)

Tutorial
-Choose your paper products
-choose your stamps and dies-mine are from Jaded Blossom
-Cut the Classic Linen card stock with your dies-coffee dies and a 2 3/4"x4" Stitched Rectangle and a 3 1/4x4 1/2" Scallop Rectangle. I use my Vagabond die cutting machine.
-I also cut a heart die with the linen card stock along with a coffee wrap die with the Tindalo woodgrain card stock
-I ink blended 3 colours on my scallop rectangle background, the heart, coffee cup using my Distress Oxide inks and Distress ink blending tools and sponges, I then sprayed them with the Distress Sprayer with water to distress the ink blending...waited a few minutes then soaked up the droplets with a paper towel
-I then stamped my greeting repeatedly with the same oxide inks and an acrylic stamp block
-I cut the Tindalo Woodgrain card stock in half vertically with my Tonic trimmer and scored it at 5.5" with my teflon bone folder and my Martha Stewart score board to make an A2 vertical card base, attached my layers with foam tape...assembled my coffee cup with Nuvo Glue and added a hem bow with multi medium mat glue...then added Nuvo Crystal Drops to embellish.
