Creepy Crawlies

I love this cute spider...I think it's the hat! The green paper that the spider and mat is cut from is actually a glitter paper...hard to tell from the pic. The hat is also cut from a shiny black paper. I used multi cut on my Expression...wasn't sure if I had to...but it really cut well. I also used markers to edge the spider and hat as they were white core papers...I hate when you can see a white edge. An Action Wobble was added...couldn't help myself. Love how it turned out. Thanks for looking...Lee-Ann :)

Fall Gift bag

This is a quick little gift bag that I made to house my nephew's  Thanksgiving gift. I just used left over paper from making my placecards(We R Memory Makers...Maple Grove paper line). The Close to my Heart November Word puzzle stampset and Autumn Terracotta ink was used to do some quick stamping. A little raffia...and you get a quick little bag. I think raffia just screams fall. The kraft bag came from Walmart...I bought a large pack of these when they were marked down. Thanks for looking...Lee-Ann :)

So Fangful for you!

My son came to me and asked me to make an Anniversary card for him to give his girlfriend of one year. He turns 18 next month...remember when you thought dating someone for one year was a long time? Young love...I must have had a funny look on my face(hey...sometimes Mom's have a million things going through their minds at the same time)...and he said...come on...we all know you love making cards...I just gave you and excuse. I just laughed. That kid cracks me up!! Anyways...I have been planning some Halloween cards...so I had out my Spookalicious stamp set from My Pink Stamper. This sentiment came from that set. The sentiment made me choose a cute little monster for his anniversary card. I think it turned out super cute...I think she'll like it. Thanks for dropping by...Lee-Ann :)

Beary Christmas #2

I just had to use this sentiment one more time :) Love it! I also love the little hat on this one. I don't think I've had cards come together so fast. My secret was that I cut out and assembled 12 base bears using the same cardstock (Bazzill-Carob and Fawn and a black base). When I assembled them, I pop dotted their little muzzles...I think they're way cuter this way. Thanks for stopping by...Lee-Ann :) ps...notice the pink tinge on his pom pom? Apparently, when you ink around a layer then add a white pom pom...and add a few stickles...that darn red will bleed. I did fix this by adding a new pom pom and adding stickles...just too lazy to take a new pic :)

Recipe:

  • Teddy Bear Parade-all cuts at 3.5"
  • A2 size card
  • MME-Winter Wonderland 6" paper pad and washi tape**
  • Bazzill-kraft, carob, fawn, brown**
  • American Crafts-black and white cardstock
  • Kraftin' Kimmie-stampset**
  • EK Success border, corner and heart punches**
  • Diamond Stickles**
  • CTMH-cranberry ink
  • Stampin' Up-Modern label and word window punch, cherry cobbler and garden green marker
