Typhoon Lagoon-Shark Reef layout

This one is from Typhoon lagoon. We usually do the Shark Reef swim...I decided to scrap it. I actually didn't do the swim this year...a couple of years ago I got a leaky mask...then almost panicked. I haven't done it since. I know...pathetic eh? Anyways...I think this one came out well. I again bought a cart just for a layout-Pack your bags. I used the shark from the cart Birthday Bash...and didn't cut out the number. I used the cart Pooh's Font and cut out 2 signs and Cuttlebug embossed it with the distressed stripes folder and inked it. I stamped the eyes on using a Peachy Keen stampset. I also used my Gypsy to remove the eyecuts from the shark and to make sure the signs were the right size for the shark to hold. Thanks for looking...Lee-Ann :)

The Crystal Palace-Disney World Layout

Another layout done from my Disney trip scrapbook.Yippee!! This is of one of my fav restaurants in Disney World. I usually like to book a lunch here at least once when we visit Magic Kingdom. It's so pretty in this restaurant...like a giant green house...with air conditioning...thank goodness...I've been known to melt(witch). I don't know about you...but I can't eat hot food...or barely eat at all when it's super hot outside...or heaven forbid in a non air conditioned restaurant. There are quite a few outdoor places to eat in Disney...I NEVER go to these...besides melting...I also sizzle in the sun. Oh...I forgot to mention that Eeyore is my fav character...yeah...I know...that's my daughter with Eeyore in the layout...I also have a pic with just me and Eeyore...well...wouldn't you know it...Eeyore is one of her favs too. This layout was frought with complications...I've never had a layout where I literally made mistakes..left, right and center. The shadow for the letters didn't weld on the first cut? What? I kept sticking things down crooked with my ATG gun...ARG! I had to do some creative stamping...I must have redone that 4 times...Yikes! Thankfully it turned out great in the end. Thanks for stopping by...

My Nephew's 2nd birthday card

I had such a great Saturday. A bunch of gal pals and I rented a hall, packed up all our scrapping crap and brought some snacks to enjoy a fun day of scrapping, heavy on the yapping. We had a great day. I wasn't as productive as I'd hoped, but I still completed a bunch of cards. I'm glad the only kids present were in utero...let's just say the language leaned toward the filthy...ok...so my language leaned toward the filthy. A lot of the other women climbed into the gutter with me...and fun was had by all! The first card that I'm posting from that day is my nephew's 2nd birthday card. Had to use Elmo...gotta love Elmo. I know...filthy language and Elmo is creepy, but I love how it turned out. I started out using different paper, but Donna (gal pal...local Scrapbooking store owner extrordinaire) screamed yikes...so I took her advice and this was the end product.

Recipe:
  • Bo Bunny Expresso double dot cardstock and teal ribbon
  • Bazzill-red, orange, black and white
  • SEI-6x6" paper pack-Happy day patterned paper

  • Paper Shapers corner punch
  • Kraftin Kimmie sentiment inside card
  • CTMH-cocoa ink
  • Cricut cart-Sesame Street Friends, Pooh font(2)
