Try me Tuesday @ My Creative Time

Today at My Creative Time we are debuting "Try Me Tuesday". The idea is to push the DT out of their comfort zone...and maybe try new things. This week it's "dry embossing". I do dry emboss...have a million embossing folders...but I forget about them. Love the texture they give a project. This card is for my Hubby for Valentine's Day. Love how it turned out. I recently bought the new Cricut Cartridge Winter Wonderland from Anna Griffin. The images are so pretty that I decided to make all the ornaments into sparkly cards...I will be posting them during this month. This is the first one...so sparkly...love it! I cut the ornaments at 4" and would suggest that you don't cut them smaller...even at 4" there were super small pieces. Thanks for stopping by...Lee-Ann :)

Banner card

This one was super quick...love how it turned out!! I can't say enough good things about the Creative Cards Cricut cart. When you need a quick card...you're there lickedy split! I applied Glossy Accents to the banners...they curled a bit...it really gave it some dimension...love it!! Lee-Ann :)
** try to ignore the acrylic block in the front pic of the card, the card folds in...so the card doesn't lay flat enough for a good pic...hence the block.
