My Creative Time Challenge

Caroline's Card

I made this card for my good friend Caroline. She also happens to be a teacher...and a super Calculus tutor. She has been tutoring my son in math for a while...this last stint in Calculus. My son adores her. This card is a little thank you for all she's done. She really is the best...so the sentiment couldn't be any more perfect. Your the Cat's Meow

I made this card just because I had to play with this new paper line...Love it! You can't go wrong with great paper and Create a Critter. I decided to make the accessories to go with this cat because the background paper has pinwheels on it. People always say to me...I would have never used that cut...but you make it look so good...it's not me...it's excellent paper. There's nothing easier than to use a paper pad to make cards...all the paper  and patterns match...you can't go wrong. Friends make life bearable

I just got myself some Peachy Keen face stamps...I love them. They make the little critters that I put on my cards look so different. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I used the Create a Critter cart for the little bears and used my Gypsy to remove the face cuts...then stamped my little stamps...voila! Too darn cute.

I used the soft suede marker(Stampin' Up) to ink the edges of my bears. The card pieces are inked with CTMH-chocolate ink. The bears are cut at 2.41" high using the Gypsy to remove the face cuts.

Card #1 from card set-Hoot and Holler

I went to a pals on the weekend to scrapbook. I had to come up with something to do. I decided to pull out my Wishes Card Book from Close to My Heart. I chose a card set pattern that allowed you to make 10 different card designs (2 of each) using 5 pieces of patterned cardstock and  A2 sized card bases. Normally I like to design my own cards...but I needed something that I could work on...chat...and actually be productive. I decided to use these cards as bases and design a card around it. I'll be posting all of these cards as they are completed.

When one of our pals have a baby...we all get together to make a baby album. I chose February. I already had this paper that I was dying to use...it's too cute. I also decided right away that I had to use these adorable cuts from the Simply Charmed cart. The title "love bug" was also from this cart. What made this layout even more stressful was that it was for my pal Donna...who owns my fav scrapbooking store...who is also an amazing scrapbooker and card maker.Now I know she loves everything people make for her and the thought that went into it...but she's not exactly one of those non-crafters that are impressed by anything. A Little Horse?

Another card that I just had to make after I received the stamp set Biggie Punnies from My Pink Stamper. I again pulled out one of my fav Cricut carts-Create a Critter and cut out this adorable little horse. Then I just had to pick what patterned pad of paper I wanted to use...and I was set!! and I couldn't help it...I used an Action Wobble. I love those things...too cute!

Christmas Card Class

I'll be teaching my first class at my favourite local scrapbooking store...DAT's on Saturday October 15th at 10 am. This is the card that I will be teaching. The concept is that you can make a quick easy card with your Cricut Machine...no colouring required. I love how this one turned out...and it wouldn't be complete without an adorable punny sentiment. The reindeer is also dancing on an Action Wobble...too cute!
