Cricut Circle Magazine-Make it your way-Challenge

The Cricut Circle Magazine Challenge was to "Make it your way". The idea was to be inspired by one of their designers and...Make it your way. The rules were to use 3 Cricut cuts and an idea from the magazine. I was inspired by Crystal Hobbs. Her "hello friend" card on page 42 spoke to me. I've never made a stamp shaped card and I love the paper she chose. I decided to make the stamp shaped card from the cart Birthday Bash and I chose a similar line of paper by My Mind's eye-Stella Rose-Mabel. Love how this one turned out!!!!! In fact...I'll be using this card cut again.

Recipe:
  • Stella Rose-My Mind's Eye-Mabel line of paper
  • kraft cardstock
  • twine
  • heart punch
  • EK Success edge punch
  • Action Wobble
  • Stampin' Up button
  • Bazzill brown mini brads
  • Making Memories felt flower
  • sentiment-front-(Punny-licious-The Pink Stamper)
  • CTMH-cocoa ink
  • Amy R-Critter Sentiments-inside card
  • Cricut carts-Hoot 'n' Holler, Elegant edges, Birthday Bash, Accent Essentials
The owl was cut from Hoot 'n' Holler at 2.75". The blue flower was cut from Accent Essentials at 1.5". The base card was cut from Birthday Bash pg.31 at 5". The layered shapes on the front were cut from Elegant Edges pg.38 at 3.94"...using the Gypsy to make sure that they would fit perfectly inside the stamp card base. Too cute!!

Wild Card # 20

Yahoo # 20!! Finally. This card is called the dial card...which I guess is appropriate considering there is a dial. It's kinda neat because you can stamp different sentiments on the dial. The original card has little holes all over it(kinda moth eaten). To be honest I had no idea what to do with this one. I decided to make this one by cutting it out in the blackout feature, and voila. I think it's kinda neat, I'll probably make this one again. I also had the chance to play with my slightly used new cartridge Hoot n Holler, Yay! (thanks again Donna)
Ingredients:
  • Brown and olive Bazzill, 3 types of brown cardstock, cream cardstock
  • scenic route summer collection(blue pattern and leaf pattern)
  • DCWV brown dot
  • brown ribbon from my stash
  • chocolate ink CTMH
  • stamps CTMH and Kraftin Kimmie
  • EKsuccess corner punch
  • metal brad and tab from Dat's ?brand
  • cartridges used: Wild Card, Ashlyn's(for the inside cuts), Hoot and Holler(owl)
