Die Cuttin Divas "Shape card Challenge"

This week the challenge at Die Cuttin Divas is to make a shape card. Just click HERE and check out the other design team members...and maybe play along.
                                        Here's the 5.5" one...
I pulled out my trusty Wild Card 2 cartridge. I ended up making 2 of the same card...the first one I cut at 4.5"...I thought it was too small...so I cut a second at 5.5". I didn't want to waste the fist cut...so I completed it too. Love them...too cute! I left the insides blank...I think the one with the heart will be a Valentines Day card...the other a Congratulations...Thanks for stopping by, Lee-Ann :)

Caroline's Card

I made this card for my good friend Caroline. She also happens to be a teacher...and a super Calculus tutor. She has been tutoring my son in math for a while...this last stint in Calculus. My son adores her. This card is a little thank you for all she's done. She really is the best...so the sentiment couldn't be any more perfect. I used a second apple on the inside of the card as a pocket for a gift card. She's also a scrapbooker and card maker. Thanks for looking...Lee-Ann :)

Apple of my eye.

I know...you guys are probably saying...enough with the fruit.Well this little card just was too cute not to make. I flipped his little mouth over so he's smiling. I also used Diamond glaze on his glasses...I had to do this twice...the first time the glasses curled...when I straightened them...they cracked. the second time I assembled the glasses on the Cricut mat and applied the glaze and let it dry in place...and volia...perfectly flat...I'm going to have to remember that for next time I use that glaze. I love how his glasses are all shiny like real ones. Thanks for looking...Lee-Ann :)
