Something old and something new NSD challenge for Cricut Circle blog

I made this card for the NSD Something old something new challenge at the Cricut Circle blog. You had to have 2 image cuts and use an old Cricut cartridge and a new cartridge. I used Ole(one of my new ones) and Base camp for the old one. I think this is cute...who doesn't love a Margarita on a hot day. Definately a great gal pal card.

Recipe:

  1. Echo Park-Country Drive paper line
  2. Bazzill-kraft cardstock
  3. Martha Stewart border punch
  4. EK Success corner punch
  5. American Crafts-green organza ribbon
  6. Amy R stamps-It's your birthday stampset
  7. Cricut carts-Ole, Base Camp, Cherry Limeade
  8. Cuttlebug-Swiss dots embossing folder
  9. CTMH-brown bag ink
  10. Diamond Stickles
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my stuff...Lee-Ann :)

Happy 18th Birthday Chelsea!

I made this card for my daughter's 18th Birthday. As I've said in the past...my Daughter LOVES rabbits. This is almost my last rabbit cut...yikes. I need to be on the lookout for a new cart with rabbits on it. I really like this paper I picked up at Dat's(local scrapbooking store). It's really great because it had matching solids...I love when they do that...it's awesome for the matching challenged. I got to use a pun stamp again...yeah me!!

Recipe:
  • Echo Park-Springtime line
  • white Bazzill
  • Martha Stewart edge punch
  • pansy ink from CTMH
  • pink buttons from my stash (?brand)
  • green ribbon from Stampin' up
  • black Bazzill mini brads
  • Paper Shapers corner punch-inside
  • sentiments-The Pink Stamper stamps-Punny-licious and Even More Punny-licious
  • Cricut carts-Birthday bash, Cherry Limeade(18)

Wild Card # 21

Lucky 21? OOOOO, I'm so glad to be done Wild Card # 21. This one is called Scallop...makes sense. Turned out cute. I seem to have a problem, every card I make turns into a girl card. By the end of this challenge, I'm going to have 48 girl cards and 2 boy cards.ARGH!

What I used:
  • Bo Bunny Shabby Princess line(all patterned card stock)
  • white Swiss dot, yellow, olive and rose Bazzill
  • generic white card stock
  • Kraftin Kimmie sentiment
  • CTMH cranberry ink
  • Stampin up yellow ribbon
  • clear and white Bella Bling
  • Cartridges: Wild card, Cherry Limeade(flower), George(rectangle and shadow I stamped on), Mini Monagrams(scalloped circles inside card)
  • paper hole punch for red circles inside card

Wild Card # 15

#15, Wow can you believe it? This card is a neat idea, it's like a decorated gift card holder. There's even a tab to hold the front flap down...I didn't use that...I don't do tabs...I like velcro. I didn't put a sentiment inside, because I thought I could add that later...depending on what I want them to enjoy? I think this card was a good one to have on Wild Card. Recipe:
Orange Bazzill, Bo Bunny Popsicle line, Bo Bunny ribbon, button and flower, white Bella bling. The stamp was CTMH(say it in style) and the ink was CTMH cranberry. I used the obvious Wild card Cartridge along with Cherry Limeade(popsicle), and George for the rectangle and shadow that I stamped on. So...Donna...I think this one may match?

WILD CARD # 13

This card is called tied up...I didn't tie it up...Oh well. Another card down in my wild card summer saga. I used core'dinations cardstock in green, red and yellow. The patterned paper is strawberryfields by Cosmo Cricket. All available at your favourite store Dat's. The red ribbon was from my stash. The EKsuccess corner punch, flower punch and a 2" and 2 1/4" square puch were used. The stamped sentiment is from CC designs and the ink was cranberry from CTMH. The cartridge Cherry Limeade was used to make the flower. Instead of tying this card up, I used a dot of velcro to hold it together. This was another card I didn't like, but I liked the outcome. Cute and fresh!
(the red ribbon doesn't really match, I liked how it popped...Donna don't look too close at the ribbon...move away from the ribbon...)
