Music teacher- Thank You card

I made this card for my daughter's flute teacher. I realized...when she goes away to university in September...she won't be here taking flute lessons? I know that should be obvious, but I actually kinda forgot. Anyways...I thought I'll have to make her a special card this year and get her a nice gift. This is the card I came up with. I love how it turned out.My daughter's fav colour is purple...so that's the way I went with it. I love the cricut cart I used to make it too. It has a great font and some really pretty designs.

Recipe:
  • DCMV-Latte Cardstock
  • Bazzil-Eggplant coloured cardstock
  • EK Success border punches-in and out
  • EK Success corner punch
  • Diamond and Silver Stickles
  • Basic Grey green rhinestones
  • CTMH-Smokey plum ink

Zach's Salzburg layout

OK...so my friend Donna talked me into using a Christmas line of paper for this layout. I never do this...I really don't ever think of using a seasonal line of paper in a different way. She was right...I'll never look at a seasonal line of paper the same way! I love how it turned out!!! The kids went on the Sound of music tour while in Salzburg. Love it!!!

Recipe:
  • Echo park- Merry Christmas
  • Bazzill-Cream
  • Stampin' Up word window punch
  • Sewing machine for the zig zagging
  • Cricut Cart- Birthday Bash for the banner and font, Quarter note-Sound of Music cut
  • CTMH- Imagine layout book pg 94 for inspiration

Zach's Europe Scrapbook

My daughter and her boyfriend went on a school trip to Europe this last summer. I have been making my daughter an album...I have posted a few of her pages. I got this brainstorm to surprise Zach with an album of his own to commemorate his trip. It's kinda for his mom also...you know how boys are...their pics are few and far between. Luckily, my daughter takes after me, and I had plenty of pics to make Zach an album. Over the next little while I'll post his pages. Here is the first page...I decided to use a pic of Venice as the title page. My girl took some beautiful pics in Venice...Please excuse my indoor pics of layouts...not very bright...but you get the idea.

Recipe:
  • Core-dinations cardstock
  • patterned paper from Dat's(no idea of brand)
  • Stampin' Up edge punch
  • dark blue and lighter blue brads-no idea of brand
  • CTMH denim ink and classroom alphabet stamp set
  • Cricut carts-George for the circle cuts, Quarter Note-"M"
  • CTMH layout book Reflections-inspiration page 28
