Drinks Well with Others

I made this card for my super social next door neighbour. To tell the truth he's the bestest, funniest neighbour. The life of the neighbourhood and the party. On Saturday...it's actually his Birthday...that calls for snacks and drinks and fun conversation. I've been dying to use this cut from Simply Charmed...I believe...it's perfect!! The stamp isn't to shabby either...

Guest Designer at Inking it up Crazy

I'm really honoured to be the guest designer today at Inking it up Crazy. Today I used Echo Park paper...you just can't go wrong with it. It's bright and cheerful...pretty...love it!!  I actually had a hard time choosing which line to use...there are so many lines that I love from Echo Park. I decided to go with the most recently purchased...it's always fun to use new paper!! I also used my new Cricut cart-Elegant Edges. I just love this cart...I think it totally replaces Nestabilities...so many choices for great frames, edges and matts. I decided to break out the cart my parents bought for me...Kate's ABC's. This one has such pretty cuts that you could use for just about any card or layout. I chose to cut this wagon, as I thought that I could use it for any celebration...Birthday, Mother's Day or just a Congratulations card. I love making cards like this and leaving the sentiment inside blank...so I can add it later, as the occasion demands.

Recipe:
  • Echo Park-Summer Days paper line
  • Teal  and white Bazzill
  • brown cardstock scrap
  • CTMH-cocoa ink and Celebrate stamp from "Say it with Style"stamp set
  • Stampin' Up ribbon and butterfly stamp inside, word window punch
  • Cricut carts-Kate's ABC's and Elegant Edges
  • white Uni-ball gel pen
  • Martha Stewart edge punch inside
  • Paper shapers-flower punches, corner rounder
  • heart punch
