Bye Friends

This is going to be the last page in my trip scrapbook. Am I finished?...No...I wish. I kinda work on the pages...hopping around...doing the layouts according to how I feel. The weather here is so beautiful and un-seasonal...I felt like using this bright beautiful paper line. It's from DAT'S (local Scrapbooking store)and still available. I was inspired by my gal pal Donna's Calendar page that she did for her Calendar class. She used the Creative Memories oval cutter to cut the ovals out of the paper then put the pics behind. I used my Gypsy to place the circles on the size square that I wanted. It was really easy.

Recipe:
  1. MME-On the Bright Side paper line
  2. Hemp
  3. Stampin' Up button
  4. Mini Monograms-FRIENDS title and I welded the font letters to create the word BYE

Sympathy Card

My Hubby came home and said I need a Sympathy card A.S.A.P. Don't you love last minute requests. This is a fast one I came up with while he waited. I used the same design I borrowed from Bananastamper except I used my Cricut to cut the pennant shape. I also pulled out the Cuttlebug again...I keep forgetting to use this machine. Well, simple and fast...maybe not the most creative, but it gets the job done.

  • Bazzill-Kraft cardstock
  • Cuttlebug-Distressed stripes embossing folder-DAT'S
  • Stampin' Up-slot punch, label punch, Teeny Tiny Wishes, button
  • hemp twine
  • Hero Arts Stampset-inside card-DAT'S
  • CTMH-indian corn blue ink

50's Primetime Cafe layout-Disney World

Get your elbows off the table...finish your food...eat your vegetables...what, do you live in a barn...and the dreaded...Don't make me get my belt...my kids HOWL at this restaurant. ps...We had the best server "Cooper".

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant in Disney Studios. It is so funny. The servers will feed you your vegetables if you don't eat them. It's a throw back to the 50's era. The whole place reminds me of my Nana's house when I was little. I love it so much that I chose to have my  42 nd Birthday there. The food is pretty good too. My son Jake even had his plate hung on the wall, as it was so clean. It's important to clean your plate at this restaurant. It's a can't miss. This paper is a new line still available at DAT'S. There is actually Diamond Glaze on the tv screen...so neat. I also used a stampset from Hero arts to make my own background on the beige paper from Echo Park.

Recipe:
  1. Echo Park-This and That paper line-DAT'S
  2. We R Memory Keepers brown brads-DAT'S
  3. Cricut Carts- Nifty Fifties(title font and tv) and Paper Trimmings(border)
  4. CTMH-chocolate ink, Classmate alphabet, Imagine layout book
  5. Hero Arts-stampset
  6. Diamond Glaze-DAT'S
  7. Stampin'Up slot punch
