Valentine's with CutCardStock.com

Christmas is over for another year...for us card makers...Valentine's day is next and coming quickly! If you are like me...you need to get those Valentine's made before the end of January so that you have time for mailing. I have a quick Valentine's day card that I made with Astrobright's card stock...it's on sale this month...so jump on over and buy some of this awesome card stock. I used the beautiful Gravity Grape along with my favorite card base card stock-Basis white 110lb. Thanks for stopping by...Lee-Ann :)
**pan down to check out my tutorial and to see the products that I used

TUTORIAL:
-choose your card stock-Basis white, Astrobright gravity grape

 -choose your stamps and dies

-cut a 4x5.25" stitched rectangle out of the grape card stock and Basis white card stock, also cut a 4.25x11" rectangle of white card stock and score at 5.5" with a bone folder to make a Vertical A2 card base

-cut the purple card stock with the Balloon border...then cut the white rectangle with cloud dies...you need 3  pieces to layer...and because you first cut a stitched rectangle...you get that cool stitching detail around your layers

-stamp your sentiment with Versafine onyx black ink and a Misti stamping tool on your top cloud layer, bottom left

-stamp the hanging heart stamp on the balloon with Versafine ink-then continue to stamp the string on the cloud layers using an acrylic block

-assemble the card layers using ATG tape and foam tape for some dimension

-stamp the heart onto a piece of grape card stock and trim with scissors and color the edge of the heart with black marker...then glue the heart in place with Ranger Multi medium mat
-lastly add your embellishments
