Tough to be a bug LO

This is my second last LO of my Disney trip 2011. Love how it turned out...a bunch of cartridges were used on this one. I'm glad... because I always feel vindicated when I use a cart that has been sitting there unused. I made little Cricut head paper clips by welding the U from George in the center of each Cricut head. I also searched high and low for an ant cut...I don't have one? Crazy? Since this was a buggy LO I went for the little beetle cut on the Boys will be boys cart. Thanks for dropping by...Lee-Ann :)

Jake's Graduation Banner

This is my son's Graduation banner that I made for his party. The school's colours are red, black and white. I used the cart Birthday Bash for the pennant shapes and the letters. This cart has a bunch of great pennant shapes and shadows to use...it came together in a snap! I think it took less than an hour all together. I'll just add copious amounts of helium balloons and you get an instant party! Thanks for looking...Lee-Ann :)

Magic Kingdom-Disney World

This is an overview of the Magic Kingdom. Love this place. Love this layout. I had to make the spool myself because it said on my Gypsy...no spool. After I made it  and wrapped it in twine...and then went in search for a needle cut...then voila... a spool. I was soooo mad. I didn't mention that to make the spool I welded shapes from the George cart...went well. For some reason my Gypsy wouldn't cut the shape...it did this crazy zig zag half way through the cut. I had to old school just glue the shapes together...that's why I was extra mad re:the spool. All the products for this layout were purchased at DAT'S-my fav local scrapbooking store.ps... I noticed some of my bling fell off on the left border. I was too lazy to retake the pic after fixing the bling. Also kinda too mad.To get this layout straight I had to rip off stuff twice. Not one of my easier layouts. Thanks for looking...Lee-Ann :)

Feeling Trunky?

I made this card for my Mom...she's having a meniscus repair(knee)...and I know she'll definately be feeling trunky. My Mom and Dad go to Arizona in the winter, Canadian Snowbirds, when they're  there...I order online stuff like crazy and ship it to their address. Shipping to Canada is a fortune sometimes...whereas...in the US...shipping is free mostly. They came home this month and one of my purchases was more My Pink Stamper stamps...I love these. I saw this sentiment and I couldn't resist.
I even pulled out my ancient Zoobaloo Cricut cart.

Happy Birthday Chelsea!

My daughter turns 19 this month. In Canada...that means in most provinces that you can consume and buy alcohal...so you can imagine some crazy 19th birthday parties. My daughter is the opposite...not even a sip...it's bad for you. She's a health nut. Normally...a card with a coctail on front would be just the ticket. My little girl is rabbit driven. I've talked about this in the past...I try to put a bunny on the front of every card I make her...as a result...I've been known to buy a Cricut cartridge just for one bunny cut. This year I went for one of the bunnies on the Give a Hoot cart...too cute. I also watched a bunch of talented ladies tutorials on the diamond card fold technique on Youtube...I decided to give it a whirl. It wasn't as hard as I thought...but difficult to take a pic of though. Can't avoid the shadow. Thanks for stopping by...

Recipe:
  1. MME-Miss Caroline-All dolled up paper line(6 by 6" pad)
  2. Bazzill-Kraft and bittersweet cocoa cardstock
  3. MME-Limetwist-Happy go Lucky-together twine
  4. Doodlebug-tidbits-white button
  5. pink mini brad
  6. CTMH-cocoa ink and Happy Birthday stamp set
  7. Cricut carts-George(balloon) and Give a Hoot(bunny)
I also inked the edges of the bunny and balloon with the cocoa ink.
