Swan Birthday card

I made this one for my Mother-in-law. I figured that if I used Art Nouveau again...that'll be 2 times...I'm on a roll...that cart was worth it now...Right? I really have to say that this cart layers so easily. Once I decided on the swan and chose the papers...it was super fast to put together. I pulled out the glitter again and glammed it up...love how pretty it is. I know that my Mother-in-Law will love it. She saves all the cards that I make...just like my Mom does. Thanks for dropping by my happy place... Lee-Ann :)

Happy Birthday

I made this card for my Mom for her Birthday. This was actually the maiden voyage of my Art Nouveau cart...I just had to have it...it's been sitting there ever since. Since my Mom loves hummingbirds...I thought...I finally get to use that cart! The layering is actually pretty simple for this cart...I was pleasantly  surprised. I thought...since I was using one cart that I've never used...let's break out Art Philosophy too. I've used that one a little, but not nearly enough. I've also never put 3D flowers on a card. Love how pretty it turned out. Thanks for dropping by...Lee-Ann :)

Cupcake card

I've seen a lot of people on You Tube make card backgrounds with strips of paper...I thought I'd give it a whirl. Love it! Again I screwed up...I embossed my cupcake liner...glued the whole card together...then decided that it needed stitch lines around it. Faux stitching on embossed paper is not for the faint of heart...it's a good thing I was alone when I made this one...the air was blue! Thanks for dropping by...Lee-Ann :)

Thrill Rides

I can't believe it...this is actually the last 2 page spread from my Disney Trip 2011. If you look on the left of my blog under labels...you can scan down and see the whole album...just click on Disney Album 2011. I'm so glad to be done! Although...I still have to do Universal...we went there too last year!! Yikes!

Well...whenever we're in Disney Studios...we all ride Rock n Roller coaster, we all like it. When it comes to the Tower of Terror...my Hubby bails...my son bails...I try to bail, but my daughter drags me on. I just don't like dropping rides...neither does my son...my Hubby pleads motion sickness...so because I can go on any ride...upside down, sideways...while eating...as I never get sick...I'm stuck riding. I find it strange that my son is willing to ride the biggest coaster there is...but dissolves on dropping rides. Don't you drop on roller coasters? Heck yeah! We actually tease my son about it...we always say...what if a hot girl wants to ride TOT with you? He always says, I'd tell her..."well...it was nice meeting you..."   Chicken!
Thanks for dropping by...Lee-Ann :)  ps...yes that's me and my daughter on the TOT screaming in the front left row of the pic:)

Tough to be a bug LO

This is my second last LO of my Disney trip 2011. Love how it turned out...a bunch of cartridges were used on this one. I'm glad... because I always feel vindicated when I use a cart that has been sitting there unused. I made little Cricut head paper clips by welding the U from George in the center of each Cricut head. I also searched high and low for an ant cut...I don't have one? Crazy? Since this was a buggy LO I went for the little beetle cut on the Boys will be boys cart. Thanks for dropping by...Lee-Ann :)

Jake's Graduation Banner

This is my son's Graduation banner that I made for his party. The school's colours are red, black and white. I used the cart Birthday Bash for the pennant shapes and the letters. This cart has a bunch of great pennant shapes and shadows to use...it came together in a snap! I think it took less than an hour all together. I'll just add copious amounts of helium balloons and you get an instant party! Thanks for looking...Lee-Ann :)
