Tie one on!

I made this card for my Hubby for Father's day. He's a Chartered Accountant and partner in his firm...this basically means he wears alot of ties. I thought this cut was just too cute to pass up. I had to make my own sentiment on the computer because I just had to use this pun...tee hee!! I love all the bright colours.

Recipe:
  1. Bazzill-teal, rust, lime and lipstick pink
  2. Imaginisce-Animal Crackers kaboom line
  3. Bo Bunny lime dot ribbon
  4. EK Success-edge and corner punches
  5. Stampin up slot and label punch
  6. CTMH sentiment stamp on the front, black ink, tie stamp, Pacifica ink
  7. Cricut carts- George(word bubble), Simply Charmed(tie and shirt)
I used a base card of 4 x 5"...cut the word bubble and shadow at 1.45"...cut the shirt and tie at 4.38". Of course I pop dotted all the cuts...gotta love pop dots!

I made this one for my Mom-in-law for Mother's Day. I love how it turned out...pretty and springy...is that a word? I got to use a new cartridge again...yeah me! I always feel that if I use the cartridge even once...it's totally worth it...at least that's what I tell myself. It's a beautiful sunny day here...thank God. We had some snow the other day...I know...it's supposed to be spring...but in Thunder Bay, you never can tell when that last snow will fall.

  • Stampin' Up ribbon and sentiment stamp on card front
  • CTMH-Cocoa ink and sentiment stamp inside card

  • Paper Shapers corner punch
  • Cricut cartridge- Kate's ABC's
The card base is 4x6". The butterfly is cut at 1-1/4" and the watering can is cut at 4". Layered the images with pop dots...I can't scrap without them.

She nagged and nagged...and I didn't give in...OK so I made HER a card...she's pregnant...you're not supposed to upset a pregnant person...So Donna...here's your @#$%$#@ card...
