Feeling Trunky?

I made this card for my Mom...she's having a meniscus repair(knee)...and I know she'll definately be feeling trunky. My Mom and Dad go to Arizona in the winter, Canadian Snowbirds, when they're  there...I order online stuff like crazy and ship it to their address. Shipping to Canada is a fortune sometimes...whereas...in the US...shipping is free mostly. They came home this month and one of my purchases was more My Pink Stamper stamps...I love these. I saw this sentiment and I couldn't resist.
I even pulled out my ancient Zoobaloo Cricut cart.

Recipe:
  1. American Crafts-Fresh Squeezed paper line
  2. Bazzill-white and brown(? right colour names)
  3. EK Success-pointed flower border punch, corner rounder and heartpunch
  4. Stampin Up-slot and label punch and yellow 1/8" ribbon and Teeny Tiny Wishes stampet
  5. My Pink Stamper-That's Punny-licious stamp set
  6. Cricut carts-George(ovals) and Zoobaloo(elephant)

The Crystal Palace-Disney World Layout

Another layout done from my Disney trip scrapbook.Yippee!! This is of one of my fav restaurants in Disney World. I usually like to book a lunch here at least once when we visit Magic Kingdom. It's so pretty in this restaurant...like a giant green house...with air conditioning...thank goodness...I've been known to melt(witch). I don't know about you...but I can't eat hot food...or barely eat at all when it's super hot outside...or heaven forbid in a non air conditioned restaurant. There are quite a few outdoor places to eat in Disney...I NEVER go to these...besides melting...I also sizzle in the sun. Oh...I forgot to mention that Eeyore is my fav character...yeah...I know...that's my daughter with Eeyore in the layout...I also have a pic with just me and Eeyore...well...wouldn't you know it...Eeyore is one of her favs too. This layout was frought with complications...I've never had a layout where I literally made mistakes..left, right and center. The shadow for the letters didn't weld on the first cut? What? I kept sticking things down crooked with my ATG gun...ARG! I had to do some creative stamping...I must have redone that 4 times...Yikes! Thankfully it turned out great in the end. Thanks for stopping by...

Epcot World

This is another layout from my Disney trip last summer. Epcot world is a layout featuring pics of us around the "world". Love the bright colours in this paper. I was finally able to go outside to take some pics for my blog...the weather here had been less than desirable. Freezing rain...then gasp snow. Then rain for 2 days...now we have no snow and it's sunny again. So I have been working on things...but have been unable to take pics. Thank goodness for the weather change. I have to get cracking to finish this album...thanks for dropping by :)

Recipe:
  1. Bo Bunny-Coffee Double Dot,  Ad Lib paperline and buttons
  2. Close to my Heart-Cocoa ink
  3. Stampin' Up Chocolate chip marker
  4. Martha Stewart border punch-embossing ziz zag
  5. Times New Roman font-computer
  6. Stampin Up-word window punch
  7. Cricut carts-Doodletype-font, Pack your bags-neat title
  8. DMC-3371
  9. EK Success corner punch

For this layout I glued it all down and realized that I should have inked around the edges...now what? I used my SU marker and outlines everything. I like it...it kinda matches the paper.

    Chef Mickey's Disney layout

Another layout from my Disney trip last year. I'd better hurry up or I won't be finished when I go on this summers family vacation. Our family always goes to Chef Mickey's for dinner when we're in Disney World. It`s just a lot of fun hangin with the characters and eating at a buffet. This layout came together fast. I`m still attempting to avoid the traditional Disney look. Love this paper too! Of course it was from my fav LSS DAT`S. Thanks for looking!!

    1. Fancy pants-It`s Your Day-paper line
    2. CTMH-Chocolate ink-for inking
    3. American Crafts ribbon
    4. CTMH-Cherish layout book for inspiration pg.98

    Altered paper pads

I decided to make these as a little thank you to all of my pals for coming to my candle party. I saw  these plain pads at Walmart and thought...these would make cute little purse pads if I decorated them. I just measured them up...covered the pads with Bazzill Kraft cardstock using my ATG gun. Then decorated them with Echo Park-This and That line. I used the Cricut cart Letter Envy to make the Monograms...using my Gypsy of course...to make sure the letter would fit. I also used the cart George for the rectangle cuts for covering the pad...adjusting with my fav Gypsy too!The ribbon is all American Crafts. I then added a little sparkle using Cinnamon Stickles...and Voila...cute little purse pads...I hope they like them.  All of the supplies came from my fav LSS DAT'S.
I also submitted this in the Cricut Circle magazine challenge...to use the
cart Letter Envy and 2 other cuts.

    Happy Birthday Chelsea!

My daughter turns 19 this month. In Canada...that means in most provinces that you can consume and buy alcohal...so you can imagine some crazy 19th birthday parties. My daughter is the opposite...not even a sip...it's bad for you. She's a health nut. Normally...a card with a coctail on front would be just the ticket. My little girl is rabbit driven. I've talked about this in the past...I try to put a bunny on the front of every card I make her...as a result...I've been known to buy a Cricut cartridge just for one bunny cut. This year I went for one of the bunnies on the Give a Hoot cart...too cute. I also watched a bunch of talented ladies tutorials on the diamond card fold technique on Youtube...I decided to give it a whirl. It wasn't as hard as I thought...but difficult to take a pic of though. Can't avoid the shadow. Thanks for stopping by...
