It's your birthday!

Guy cards are so hard. I made this one for my brother in law's birthday. My hand always reaches for bling, rhinestones, stickles and pink. The pinker and shinier the better. This card started with a pun...gotta love a pun sentiment. I decided that I needed to use my Birthday Bash cartridge again...voila...bird card. Tried to stick to masculine paper...I think it turned out well.

You're so deer

I know...another pun...can't she use a non-pun sentiment? No...I can't. I love the pun stamps from The Pink Stamper...they are awesome and they stamp like a dream. I've wanted to use this deer cut for a while...she's too cute! I love how this one came together too. I really like when paper lines have tags and journalling blocks on the back of their paper. They are perfect for the inside of a card.

Happy 18th Birthday Chelsea!

I made this card for my daughter's 18th Birthday. As I've said in the past...my Daughter LOVES rabbits. This is almost my last rabbit cut...yikes. I need to be on the lookout for a new cart with rabbits on it. I really like this paper I picked up at Dat's(local scrapbooking store). It's really great because it had matching solids...I love when they do that...it's awesome for the matching challenged. I got to use a pun stamp again...yeah me!!

Knocked Up?

My girlfriend is pregnant...and I am sooooooooo happy for her. Her Hubby and her older daughter are totally thrilled. They've been trying for a while and this couldn't have happened to a nicer person. She is beside herself...and to be honest, it's impossible to not get excited yourself. I just had to make her a card. She owns the only Scrapbooking store in my city...and is a professional card maker...so you can feel my pain.Whenever I make her a card, it is thought about and planned...forever. Don't get me wrong, she loves all the cards she gets from friends and family...but she's sooo good at making cards...ARG! Anyways, this is the card I came up with.  She has a twisted sense of humor(like me)...so she wouldn't be insulted by the tongue in cheek sentiment. I like how the card turned out...too cute. I just love that Simply Charmed Cricut cart.
