Sympathy Card

My husband asked me to make some sympathy cards for his office. From time to time they have clients that pass away and the office buys some stock cards that they give out. I guess he thinks mine would be more personal. I decided to keep them simple. I love how they turned out. He asked for 10...I'm planning on making a few of each design I come up with. I'll post the rest when they're complete.

Recipe:
  • base cardstock-looks like a paper bag ? brand
  • My Mind's Eye-Andrea Victoria
  • brown cardstock
  • KaiserKraft brown organza ribbon
  • EK Success border punch
  • Paper Shapers corner punch
  • CTMH brown bag ink
  • sentiment stamp from Hero Arts
  • Cricut cart-Heritage (tree)

Very nice. Simple is normally the best way to go for sympathy cards. I love the touch of organza ribbon.

I like your card. It is so tasteful and appropriate. I always struggle with sympathy cards. TFS.

This is perfect. Sympathy is one of the more difficult ones I find to make. Cant' wait to see the others, may have to lift some ideas... :)

I love this card. I find sympathy cards so hard to make. It would be great idea to make some ahead of time so that you don't have to feel the pressure when you need one. Great job.
