House card

I was inspired by another blog to make this card. She used this shape from Wild Card 2 and I was immediately convinced of how cute this cut actually is. I thought the 2 fluffy blue things by the house were weird trees. They really used strange colours in the instruction booklet. I pulled out my Cuttlebug to provide a little texture, and voila...fast card. Thanks for looking...Lee-Ann :)

Recipe:

  • Wild Card 2-house card and all layers cut at 5"-found on pg 55
  • Art Philosophy cart-tag inside cut @ 2" and again at 2.35" to shadow
  • American Crafts white cardstock(clouds)
  • Bazzill-kraft cardstock(cardbase)**
  • Worldwin-deep creamy cocoa(house shadow)**
  • Cuttlebug embossing folders-Divine Swirls and Polka dot**
  • MME-Fine and Dandy Boy 6" paper pad(all other paper)**
  • Jillibean soup-Apple cheddar 6" paper pad(tree)**
  • CTMH-chocolate ink, cocoa ink
  • Making Memories brad**
  • white Uniball Signo gel pen**
  • Stampin' Up red riding hood marker
  • the stamp set that came with the Art Philosophy cart from CTMH
**all the starred products were purchased from DAT'S...my fav LSS**

LOve this! I was thinking about "house cards" the other day and wondering if I had one on a cartridge. My son and his wife just moved into their first home and I need to make them a card. Your timing and inspiration are just perfect for me! Don't be surprised to see this card pop up on my blog sometime in the near future...I love it and the papers you used are so much fun! Thanks for the inspiration my talented friend!

Your card is really sweet! This is a great idea for many occasions. I think your right about the clouds; sometimes those pics just aren't very clear. Glad you made it!

Lee Ann ~ CUTE card! Again the patern paper choices and the embossing just ROCK! I have to agree with you and Provos color choices! Sometimes they are so unpeeling that you wonder what things are or it is hard to vision it looking CUTE!!! But I personally think everything you create is AMAZING!!!
