Hello!!

Have you ever wanted to revisit an old technique?? Since the glitter card stock is on sale this month at CutCardStock...I thought a little texture and glitz would be just the ticket. A little Nuvo Mousse, a stencil...a nest of gold thread...LOVE! I used CutCardStock's gold glitter card stock, their Classic Linen Natural white card stock A2 sized, Basis white 110lb card stock, vellum and their Glue tape runner. This card is really ready for anything...Mother's Day...a classy Thank You...a Feminine Birthday card...I LOVE a Versatile card. I have a full picture tutorial for you along with a full recipe list so that you can make this card for yourself. Thanks for stopping by...Lee-Ann Kubinec :)

***check out the CutCardStock blog and store HERE

-Choose your supplies...

-Pick out your dies(mine are from Jaded Blossom) Rectangle dies, Word dies, Spring dies 2, Card mat dies

-Cut out your dies...I used a Vagabond...but any die machine will suffice...remember if you are using glitter card stock as a layer...cut images from the center...no one will know...I cut an A2 size Stitched Rectangle of the Classic linen Natural white to cover the White Card base that I made from Basis white card stock 110lb...then a 4"x 5.25" Rectangle from Glitter paper(cutting a butterfly layer from the center) Then a 3.75x 5" Rectangle of vellum and a 3x 4.25" rectangle from Classic Linen Natural white...this last layer will be the layer that I apply the Nuvo Mousse texture to...I also cut a butterfly layer from the Natural White Basis card stock...

-Apply your texture paste using a stencil...I used Nuvo Mousse and a Stencil from Tim Holtz...

-LOVE that pretty texture, let your paste dry...then glue your layers down...I used Glue tape for the glitter card stock then I used Foam tape for a little dimension...I still need a little more glitz and texture...

-Gold Gutermann thread it is the ticket...I laid it down like a little nest then stuck down my Butterfly dies with foam tape for more dimension...this also holds the thread in place...I glued my word die cut down with Ranger Multi Mat Medium...and added a sprinkle of Cartwright's Moonshine sequins...all done!!!
